Post holiday update:
The good news was that we did not have a Christmas tree in our bedroom.
The bad news was that instead we did not have a Christmas tree and spent the holiday Upstate in Rochester – definitely a holiday season appropriate for 2009.
Our irreverent Christmas cards were sent to all of our family and friends with tongues firmly planted in cheek!

Thanks for being my biggest supporter this year – so daring to send 2009 sucked ass to ALL of your card recipients. Even me and Mr. D didn’t go that far… we didn’t even have the nerve to send one to his ex boss who truly had a sucky 2009, Madoff scandal + the loss of most of his personal fortune and all… *hence, the Muck Fadoff t-shirts I sold earlier in ’09*

Sometimes when most everyone has had a difficult time of something it can be best to make light of it in a very irreverent way – the was our 1 finger salute to the year that tried to take us down. It played dirty, we fought back & won! We even sent the card to David’s Grandfather a Catholic Deacon, but even he had a craptastic year – lost his brother & diagnosed with cancer. Also sent the card to a nun in her 80s … but she has a fantastic sense of humor! LOVE the much fadoff tees – I actually saw one during the scandal, wonder if it was one of yours Amy!
